How ResearchDeck works.

ResearchDeck creates PowerPoint decks, handbook documents and interactive browser presentations in Research Mode or Business Mode.

What it does

Research Mode starts from a topic, website link or YouTube video, gathers available source material and builds a research-driven .pptx, .docx or standalone .html output.

Business Mode starts from your uploaded PDF or DOCX only and turns prepared business documents into polished presentation outputs while preserving the original business context as closely as possible.

What you can enter

ResearchDeck has two input paths:

  • Topic: a subject or research question in plain text
  • Article or website URL: a page you want the output to be based on
  • YouTube link: a public video with available captions/transcripts
  • Business document: PDF or DOCX upload for Business Mode only

How the modes differ

Research Mode searches, extracts and synthesizes available content from your topic, article link or YouTube transcript.

Business Mode does not perform internet research. It uses the uploaded PDF or DOCX as the source of truth and focuses on slide structure, visual hierarchy and professional flow.

What it creates

Choose between three output types:

  • PowerPoint presentation (.pptx): structured slides with a title, content sections and a source/reference section where applicable
  • Handbook document (.docx): a written document with headings, paragraphs and structured references where applicable
  • Interactive Presentation (.html): a standalone browser briefing with visual sections, smooth navigation, theme controls and separate English download when available

Customisation options

Depending on the selected format, you can set:

  • Slide count (6 to 15)
  • Template style (Modern, Corporate, Academic and more)
  • Colour theme
  • Logo image
  • Footer text

Sources and document basis

Research Mode lists collected sources where available. Business Mode does not add external sources; it keeps the uploaded document as the reference point and avoids internet research.

Controls

  • Maximum 15 slides per presentation
  • Handbook length is capped at around 20 pages
  • Business Mode accepts PDF or DOCX files up to 8 MB
  • Public YouTube videos with available captions/transcripts work best. Some restricted, private, age-limited or unavailable videos may not be processed.
  • Protected actions use credits. Cost is shown before execution.
  • Results are structured automatically based on your inputs. Please review before use.

Language support

ResearchDeck works with content in multiple languages. Outputs are generated in the original source language when it can be detected. For interactive presentations, a separate English HTML download is available after the original file is generated.
