Privacy Policy and Terms of Use for CurrentOrigin AI.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the CurrentOrigin AI website, mobile applications, platform services and related supported applications.

What we collect

CurrentOrigin AI processes the information needed to provide the selected application, workflow or platform service. Some information is temporary user content. Some information is stored as account or operational metadata.

Data we may store

We may store account email, name if provided, authentication provider, verification status, terms acceptance metadata, wallet balances, wallet transaction records, credit-related metadata, safe usage metadata, safe email event metadata, account lifecycle status, admin or security logs, device identifiers where required for supported mobile applications, platform identifiers and authentication session metadata.

User content not permanently stored

Inputs and outputs may be processed and temporarily retained to generate results, support downloads, sharing features, reliability, security operations and abuse prevention. CurrentOrigin AI does not use customer content to train public AI models.

How we use data

We use data to provide tool outputs, maintain and improve workflows, monitor performance, reduce misuse and respond to contact requests.

Authentication providers

CurrentOrigin AI supports email/password authentication, Google Sign-In and Apple Sign-In through the CurrentOrigin Account used across supported applications. We do not collect or store Google or Apple passwords. Only the identity information required for authentication and account management is processed. We do not access Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, Contacts or other personal services.

AI processing

Some applications and workflows use AI processing and supporting service providers to create documents, summaries, resume improvements, interview materials and other structured outputs. CurrentOrigin AI is designed to use only the information needed for the selected workflow and to keep public guidance, such as Curio, limited to controlled help content.

Mobile applications

Supported mobile applications may process limited device and platform information necessary for authentication, security, application functionality and service reliability.

Credit system

Credit events are stored as metadata. They may include tool or action identifiers, event type, credit amount, balance after event, request id, reason code and timestamp. Credit events do not store user content.

Email and contact handling

Email events may be tracked as metadata only. Contact form messages may be received and processed for support. The platform stores safe contact metadata such as message length and delivery status instead of contact message bodies in logs or database tracking.

Operational communications

Operational emails and notifications required for authentication, verification, password resets, security, account management and service administration may be sent as part of providing the Service. Marketing communications remain subject to your communication preferences and applicable law.

Resume and career data

Resume tools are designed with a privacy-conscious flow. Where applicable, contact and identity details are handled separately from professional analysis, while career-related content is used to create profile insights, Resume Upgrades or interview preparation materials.

What we do not do

We do not sell user data. Uploaded files and generated outputs are retained only for the period necessary to support processing, downloads, sharing features, reliability, security operations and abuse prevention, after which they are automatically removed according to platform retention policies. We do not expose platform credentials within client-facing applications or publicly accessible code. We do not use user content for public sharing.

Analytics

Google Analytics is used only after you accept analytics cookies. You can change your cookie preference anytime from the footer.

Data retention

Uploaded files and generated outputs are handled as temporary workflow data. Operational metadata may be retained for admin visibility, reliability, accounting and abuse prevention. Contact messages may be received for follow-up but are not stored as message bodies in platform logs or database tracking.

Account deletion

Account identity data is removed or anonymized according to implemented account deletion behavior. Non-identifying aggregate metadata may remain for analytics, security, accounting or operational integrity.
