How Match My Skills works.

Match My Skills helps you understand your resume, find suitable role directions and create a Resume Upgrade for a selected job.

What it does

Match My Skills works in three steps. First it reads your resume and creates a skills profile. Then it shows source-backed job matches when available. Finally it upgrades your resume for a role you select.

What you can upload

The tool accepts resumes in two formats:

  • PDF: standard PDF resume (text-based, not scanned)
  • DOCX: Word document resume

Maximum file size is 2 MB. Your file is used for analysis and not stored long-term.

What it analyses

From your resume the tool identifies:

  • Key skills
  • Experience level (Entry to Senior)
  • Strengths
  • Areas to strengthen
  • Suggested role types that fit your background

Job matching

The tool creates a list of verified live job posting suggestions based on your profile when working direct posting links are available. Each suggestion includes a match score, matching skills, location and work mode where available.

The tool only shows working direct job posting links. If a live posting cannot be verified, fewer or no results may appear.

Resume Upgrade

When you select a job card and click Upgrade Resume, the tool uses the normalized job context already found in Match My Skills to align your resume. No manual job description paste is needed.

The result is a downloadable .docx file with a professional layout including a headline, summary, skills, experience and education sections.

Truthfulness rule

This is important. The tool will not add skills, jobs, education or certifications that are not supported by your resume. It rewrites and improves what is already there using stronger wording and better alignment to the role. It does not invent experience.

You should always review the upgraded resume before sending it to an employer.

Controls

  • File size limit: 2 MB
  • Supported formats: PDF and DOCX only
  • Protected actions use credits. Cost is shown before execution.
  • Resume Upgrade uses selected job-card context instead of manual job description paste
  • The upgraded resume is created automatically based on your inputs and the job details. Please review before applying.
